Enjoy making and listening to music in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Each music session has a consistent membership so that participants can get to know and feel comfortable with each other. The groups happen at the same time and day every week for an 8-week series that is repeated three times a year. Group: These sessions are an hour or more in length and sometimes followed by refreshments. Individual: Participants (disabled people) and their assistants (when appropriate) develop their creative skills enabling all to express themselves and communicate through music. Music and Skills: Adults with disabilities work in a small group with tutors and volunteers to improve their communication, literacy and numeracy skills whilst studying music.
Charging Policy: We ask for a nominal fee of between £2 and £18 from people who wish to attend any of disabled adult groups or sessions. This money is invested directly back into the running, maintaining and development of music sessions at the charity. If you genuinely cannot afford the charge bursaries are available, please discuss costs when booking a session. |
